🎁 1.4.0 is out

Hey 👋

It’s been a long time since I’ve written a devlog. The game has received a couple of updates during this time: at least 2 important versions. These 2 versions were focused on the Mobile part, so that’s why I haven’t written a devlog here.

Before moving on with this new version, I would like to thank you all, for playing the game and giving me feedbacks. I’ve almost reached 1000 players on Android and 800 on iOS. The rates and reviews are:

  • 3.75/5 On Android with 12 rates
  • 5/5 On iOS with 12 rates

If you like the game, do not hesitate to rate it on the app store or on itch :)

Now, a new version is out: the 1.4.0. So let’s dig together into it, and see what’s new.

Tutorials & help

A bunch of tutorials have been added in the game. It is now easier to get into the game, specially if you’re a new player. Also, the tutorials are popping up when you need it, so you don’t feel overwhelmed when you start playing the game.

A lot of small helper / reminders have been introduced, so the game reminds you some key mechanics during the game.

City incidents

Incidents have been reworked to avoid being too much present. Now, there is a limit of probability increase per minute (1.5%), instead of an uncapped probability increase. The cooldown is also a little bit higher. Thanks to that, city incidents are still present and are still challenging your progression, but are not here to make you lose again and again.

There is now a notification when an incident is about to happen, so you can prepare yourself a little bit and anticipate it.

Fixes

I won’t detail too much here all the small fixes done, but a lot of small things have been fixed. There are not very important fixes, mostly stuff related to number precision, but still, it will make your life easier.
